Bio

Ashley has always had a connection with fitness. Growing up in Pennsylvania, she trained in gymnastics and competitive dance as well as a brief stint in track and field. In college, she was a group fitness instructor and participated in “general gym stuff” (cardio machines) until she realized that strength training was what she had been missing. She completed her BA in Psychology in 2017 and her MS in Sport Management in 2020, both at GW. She also worked at GW’s Department of Campus Recreation as the Graduate Assistant for Personal Training, where she further developed her skills and interest in health and wellness.

In addition to nutrition coaching, Ashley also serves as TFN’s Operations Manager. In her free time, she enjoys making good use of her espresso machine and running around with her adorable Lucky Dog Animal Rescue pup, Eve.

Philosophy

Change is hard. Staying the same is also hard. Gradually building small, daily actions that lead to long-term sustainable habits to support your goals is actually easier than you think. Even getting to this page is a much bigger step than you think. I work closely with clients to discover not only what their goals are, but what has prevented them from reaching them so far. From there, we work together on creating a realistic and effective plan to move you forward and adjust as needed.

How to get the most out of a session with Ashley

  1. Stay honest with me and with yourself

  2. Trust the Process and commit to the plan

  3. Accept that sometimes action has to come before motivation
