In the world of exercise, quality guidance is difficult to find. Most personal trainers are exercise enthusiasts at best, but they aren’t masters of movement science and the art of coaching. TFN trainers are the exception in the industry. Our trainers are well educated, deeply experienced, and able to leverage the support and expertise of our entire team. When you train with TFN, you’re in the best possible hands. Most of our clients have already become far more knowledgeable than the average trainer at a local gym.

Our personal training clients come to us with all kinds of goals, including weight loss, injury prevention, pain management, and reaching peak performance in triathlons, powerlifting and bodybuilding. + How does it work?

Personal training sessions at TFN are 60 minutes, where we work one-on-one with you to improve the way you move, progress you over time, and keep you accountable. Your first session is an introduction to movement mechanics, when your trainer gets to know how you move, teaches you the basics of loading your body well, and charts the course ahead.

+ Is there a contract?

No, all sessions are ‘pay as you go’, and there are no obligations. We believe in what we do, and we know you will too. We let our work stand for itself everyday, and most clients and their families train with TFN for years. Even if you can only see us once, you’ll be glad you did because we give you tools for the rest of your life.

+ Do I train on my own too?

Sometimes. We recommend that most people train 3x a week. Some people see us for all 3 of those sessions, and some see us less frequently. Those clients can have informal homework assignments or official guided programming based on the coach’s expertise. Not everyone is ready to execute great technique on their own, and we pride ourselves on being straightforward with what you need and when we think you are ready.

Absolutely, we have a large number of youth athletes, and many of their parents train with us as well.
